Join us for a special ThinkIn with former secretary of the United States Treasury and chief economist of the World Bank, Lawrence H. Summers as we explore if global institutions designed in the 20th century can address 21st century crises?

Institutions including the World Bank, the G20 and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) form the building blocks of global governance. However for many in an era of multiple and interconnecting crises these institutions are no longer fit for purpose.

How should systems and institutions be designed to respond effectively to our biggest collective challenges? Should some ‘G’ groupings be expanded and if so how? Do we need a G-zero world? – or would a narrower group of the world’s most powerful states and regional associations be more effective?

This ThinkIn will re-imagine how the world is run.
