If you're an African( continental and descendants ) and friend of Africa wondering who AfricaFora is ( This story will make you join us ) Once upon a time, in the heart of Africa, there was a group of people who believed in the power of change. They saw an opportunity to shape a brighter future for their continent and its people. This group, led by a visionary founder, decided to create AfricaFora. Africafora believes that the fight for change is an opportunity to set Africa on the right path. Their mission is to bring together Africa, its diaspora, and Afro-descendants(friends of Africa) hoping for a strong, self-sustaining, and peaceful Africa. This mission in mind, led AfricaFora to organize events that celebrate African successes, highlight innovations and inventions. During these events AfricaFora brings together experts, artists, and policymakers to discuss Africa's future. These events have become an occasion for Africans to share their stories, ideas, and dreams with the world. AfricaFora inspires people to believe in Africa's greatness. its events and initiatives are helping, AfricaFora changes the narrative about Africa and its people. This week Africa will commemorate a day dedicated to its freedom, this is in line with the formation of Organization of Africa Unity which later changed its name to African Union. As we prepare for that ceremonial commemorations I want to challenge all Africans and ask how many are aware of the Africa agenda 2063 plan? According to the African Union, agenda 2063 plan is “A shared strategic framework for inclusive growth and sustainable development & a global strategy to optimize the use of Africa’s resources for the benefit of all Africans”. This was launched in 2013 on 50th anniversary of OAU and will be implemented in 5phases with a period of 10 years in each phase. This year phase 2 of the ten year implementation plan covering 2024 to 2033 was launched with expected goals being prosperity, integration, democratic, peace, culture, people driven development and influential. This basically is preparing Africa for the future and its our responsibility as Africans to participate at all levels and not just leaders. Am challenging all Africans to take interest in this and play our part to ensure that these goals are achieved in the next 39 years.

Dear Young People of Africa, "I write to inspire hope and faith in us that it is time for us come together, as young Africans, to share our visions, hopes, and dreams. Also learn from each other's experiences, identify common goals and challenges, and develop solutions that are tailored to our needs. Through our collective efforts, we can break down geographical and cultural barriers, build a united and strong front for change, and support each other's initiatives and ideas. The future of Africa belongs to us, its youth. Let us seize this moment, unite our voices, and shape our own destiny. We are the leaders, innovators, and change-makers of tomorrow. Together, we can create a brighter, more prosperous, and more peaceful Africa for all."
