Seattle ONE Leadership Team Application
Seattle ONE is looking to expand its volunteer leadership team (VoLT)! If you are interested in developing your skills, and taking on one of the exciting leadership positions below, please fill out this form and Maddy will be in touch with you. In addition to your responsibilities as a team member, you will be expected to attend occasional team meetings/conference call or meet with the CDLs (Congressional District Leaders) to go over your progress.

Social Media Lead
Become ONE Seattle’s digital lead, keeping momentum growing!
-Update Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with ONE Seattle’s activities as well as relevant news and interesting pieces
-Keeping up to speed with and sharing key content from ONE’s national and global social media accounts
-Respond to any inquiries about getting more involved, and connect them with the right Neighborhood Lead/CDL

Events Lead
Become ONE Seattle’s go-to-person for all the latest events within our sector and the big ones in the Seattle area!
-Maintain events spreadsheet with upcoming events from relevant organizations, through regular research on key websites and local papers
-Scope any partnership opportunities both within these existing events, and through working closely with the partnership lead to create new ideas and  opportunities
-Talk through any potential events (existing and new ideas) with the CDLs
-Research event logistics e.g. signing us up, getting all the details, finding out costs etc.

Faith Lead
Become ONE Seattle’s lead on partnerships with the faith community
-Create and maintain a Google doc of active faith groups and places of worship of all main religions in the area, including researching contacts at each
-Build relationships with these groups/faith organizations in Seattle, initially by having a introductory conversation with them about ONE’s work and noting any ways we might be able to work together
-Be their point person within ONE Seattle for answering any questions, and for any joint events e.g. a local training held in a church meeting room

Data Lead
Become ONE Seattle’s point person for adding and updating data in the central ONE database
-Uploading participant information into database after events, meet ups, and when actions are taken e.g. made a phone call to Congress
-Use ONE’s “mapping tool” to look at where we have strong pockets of supporters in different neighborhoods, supporting the neighborhood leads in deciding on event locations etc.

Neighborhood Lead
Become ONE Seattle’s neighborhood lead in your community
-In this big city, we’re looking for volunteer leads in the key neighborhoods e.g. Ballard, Phinney Ridge/Greenlake, Fremont, Capitol Hill, West Seattle, U-District, Edmonds, Shoreline, Vashon Island, etc
-Researching and looking out for local events/organizations for Seattle ONE to partner with, sharing these with the Events Lead
-Meeting with people from your area interested in getting involved with ONE
-Potentially coordinating local events and meetups within your neighborhood
