A Global Call to Make COVID History
Two years into the pandemic there's no end in sight. While some countries are rolling out programmes for booster shots at home, billions of people in low income countries are left completely unprotected.
Unless the world changes strategy fast, we won't escape this pandemic anytime soon. World leaders have promised that this will be the year we finally end this crisis. But we need real action. No more excuses.
From 15-22 January, the Global Week of Action will bring together activists, students, community leaders, citizens, and a coalition of allies from around the world. People from over 50 countries will join forces locally, nationally, and globally — to demand action from our leaders to end the pandemic, everywhere. Will you join their call?
Every day that passes, more families lose loved ones, more children lose out on education, and the world's economy gets further away from recovering.
Across the globe, we've had enough of the endless cycle of variants, restrictions, and disruptions. We want our lives back.We believe our leaders have a responsibility to ensure that every country has the tools to fight the virus and end this pandemic, everywhere. But right now, billions of people in low income countries are being left behind.
If we work together, we can save millions of lives, stop the virus spreading, and build a stronger, healthier and safer future for all.
