Target 50% of US aid to those who need it the most
Less than half of the money we spend on US global aid goes to the world’s poorest countries.
Let's make sure that the small amount of money we do spend on global aid (less than 1% of the total federal budget) goes to the people and places that need it the most.
This doesn’t mean that other countries who need aid won’t get it. It just means that we’re making a choice to spend our money where it will help the most people.
Pick a postcard to send to President Obama and ask him to commit to giving 50% of global poverty-fighting aid to the world’s least developed countries.
