Become a UK ONE Ambassador

Apply to join the 2025 ONE Ambassadors programme in the UK. This two-year volunteer programme is ideal for young people, aged 18-35 years old, who are passionate to fight for a more just world by demanding the investments needed to create economic opportunities and healthier lives, want to develop skills in campaigning and influencing decision makers, and are keen to join a global network of people speaking out for global justice.

Training to develop skills and knowledge in campaigning, UK politics and media
Joining a group of 40 UK Youth Ambassadors and a ONE Global Activists network across Europe, Africa and the US
Opportunities to represent ONE at events and meet with decision makers
Dedicated support to carry out creative and impactful community actions in support of ONE’s campaigning work

This role is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to gain more experience in international development or who wants to develop their skills in bringing about change. No prior experience in campaigning is needed.

To apply, please complete the form by the end of Tuesday, 7th January 2025. We will only accept applications from people living in the UK for the duration of the programme. Applicants must be aged 18-35 years old.

The Ambassador programme will take a few hours of your time a week and sometimes, you may also be asked to dedicate a few days throughout the year to attend in-person events and trainings. Do you think you can commit to this throughout 2025, considering your work, academic and other commitments?

There will also be an opportunity for 8 to 10, ONE ambassadors aged 18 - 26 to be on the youth leadership team. We want to make sure that the ONE Ambassadors maintain a strong youth voice. Some of the key responsibilities are:
-Additional 1-1 skill building trainings
-Leading smaller meetings with fellow ONE Ambassadors
-Content reviewing - ensuring the material reflects the youth voice
-Leading some campaign actions
-Representing ONE at internal and external events when there is a call for youth voices.
