The world needs Canada to continue to lead on global health security.

Canada must not retreat from global leadership.

Until COVID, the fight against HIV/AIDS, TB, and Malaria had been one of the most successful global health campaigns. The Global Fund played a key role in making major progress towards ending these pandemics.

COVID set us back.

But Canada has an opportunity to finish the fight against HIV/AIDS, TB, and Malaria by committing $1.2 Billion to the Global Fund’s current replenishment campaign. The Global Fund collects contributions every three years. Canada has always been a leader in supporting the Global Fund and it shouldn’t stop now. The Global Fund has already helped save 44 Million lives and it can save 20 million more with Canada’s support and leadership.

Tell International Development Minister Harjit Sajjan that Canada can finish the fight against HIV, TB, and Malaria by committing $1.2 billion to the Global Fund this summer.
