Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, is a brilliant global effort that helps get jabs to kids in the world's hardest to reach and least well-off countries. The alliance has saved millions of lives by vastly increasing access to vaccines across the world.

Global cuts to aid budgets are putting Gavi’s work at risk, so now a funding gap means millions of children won’t be vaccinated against deadly diseases.

Investing in Gavi is a win-win for everyone. It’s an investment in children’s futures, in the countries they’ll call home and make stronger as they grow older and critically an investment in our health too, as we’ll be safer from disease outbreaks.

Keir Starmer: Please show up to Gavi's summit on 25 June and make an ambitious pledge that ensures the UK maintains its current funding levels, protecting children and all of us.
