The World’s New Bank Manager

The World Bank has a new manager and his name is Ajay Banga. Ajay is now responsible for a lot of money. A lot of it is yours, actually, and money from people worldwide whose governments invest in the bank so it can fund vital work transforming people's lives. But that money should be working harder than it is. We need Ajay to get the bank - our bank - working better.

Ajay starts his job with a full inbox and a long list of things to get on with. That’s why we’re calling on him to set new goals for the bank that will deliver more impact; increase lending to give countries a better chance at fighting climate change and extreme poverty; listen to what leaders and people need, then give them a real voice in the process, and make gender equality a priority. 

It's time to make the World Bank the World's Bank.
