As a Youth Ambassador, you’ll sharpen powerful advocacy skills, engage directly with MPs and key decision-makers, and play a central role in major campaigning moments like Africa Day and the UK’s Spring Development Conference. You’ll join a dynamic network of young leaders across the UK and around the world, all working together to deliver real, tangible impact where it matters most.

Applicants must:

Live in the UK for the duration of the programme

Be aged 18–35 years old

The Youth Ambassador programme requires a few hours a week (keeping up with emails and attending any calls) and 4 to 5 days for in-person events such as:

Launch event/Residential
Lobby Days in Parliament
UK spring Development Conference
Africa Day events (25th/26th May 2026)

A minimum commitment of 9 months is required for this programme but ideally, you’ll be available for the full 11/12 months.
