As host of this year's World Cup, all eyes are on Qatar, and many of the teams' players have been considering ways to take a stand against the country's questionable human rights record during the global tournament.

From campaigning against child food poverty, like England player Marcus Rashford, to advocating for equal pay, like U.S. National Women's Soccer League star Megan Rapinoe, athletes are increasingly using their public platforms for social justice causes.
