Become a ONE Youth Ambassador
Apply to join the 2024 ONE Youth Ambassadors programme in Belgium. This one-year volunteer programme is ideal for young people, aged 18-35 years old, who are passionate to do more to end extreme poverty and preventable diseases everywhere, want to develop skills in campaigning and influencing decision makers, and are keen to join a global network of people speaking out for global justice.
Sounds like you? Here’s what to expect:
- Training to develop skills and knowledge in EU politics, international development and climate finance policy, campaigning and pitching stories to media
- Engaging with EU decision makers ahead of the European Parliamentary elections on climate and global financial reform, among others
- Joining a group of 50 Youth Ambassadors in Belgium and a ONE Global Activists network across Europe, Africa and the US
- Opportunities to represent ONE at events and universities
- Dedicated support to carry out creative and impactful social media and community actions in support of ONE’s campaigning work
This role is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to gain more experience in international development or who wants to develop their skills in bringing about change. No prior experience in campaigning is needed.
