Become a ONE Youth Ambassador in the Netherlands!
Apply to join the 2026 ONE Youth Ambassadors program in the Netherlands! This one-year volunteering program is ideal for young people, aged 18-35, who are passionate about advocating for economic opportunities and healthier lives in Africa. How? By holding your national government accountable for investments in development cooperation and global health.
Sounds like you? Here’s what to expect:
- Trainings to develop campaigning and advocacy skills, and learn more about Dutch politics and media;
- Join a group of motivated Dutch(-speaking) Youth Ambassadors in the Netherlands and our ONE Global Activists network across Europe, Africa and North America;
- Opportunities to make your voice heard in meetings with important decision makers, for example in the Tweede Kamer and Dutch ministries;
- Dedicated support to carry out creative and impactful actions in support of ONE’s work.
This role is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to gain more experience in advocacy and campaigns, in the civic space, and/or who wants to develop their skills in bringing about social change. No prior experience in advocacy or campaigning is needed. Note that for the opportunity, Dutch proficiency is needed, and English proficiency is desirable. Residency in the Netherlands is required.
